When Katie isn’t busy planning her future endeavors, she’s serving on the Alpha Chi Omega executive board as the Intellectual Development chair, as well as serving on the Caring for Columbia executive board and is a member of Veritas. She feels as though it is most important to establish a career that both excites and challenges her. Katie is an International Business major that dreams of one day becoming a United States ambassador to the United Nations. Katie Webber is driven, passionate and likes to keep busy. This week’s Sister Spotlight is Katie Webber, sophomore from Chesterfield, Missouri! Blankenbuehler has received Dance Magazine and Drama Desk Awards for his achievement in the theatre, as well as the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors for his work on the musical HAMILTON. Blankenbuehler resides in New York City, with his wife Elly and two children, Luca and Sofia. Blankenbuehler has danced on Broadway in FOSSE, CONTACT, MAN OF LA MANCHA, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, STELL PIER, BIG, and GUYS AND DOLLS. He made his concert debut with a piece entitled “Remember Our Song ” for the Tulsa Ballet Company. Blankenbuehler’s work has been seen on the Emmy Award-winning FX series “Fosse/Verdon,” as well as the Universal Studio film of the musical Cats. Upcoming theatre projects include THE SECRET OF SANTA VITTORIA with writer John Weidman and the new musical FIVE POINTS.
